This website is meant to display my prowess in coding and give a little background about myself. Now why is a Structural Engineer switching careers to become a Software engineer? Well some of it has to do with my exposure of coding from graduate school. During my time at UCLA, I spent a lot of hours writing and debugging code written in Matlab with my cohorts. It wasnt apparent then, but what I enjoyed most about graduate school were those hours I spent with my friends contemplating what algorithm works best in order to analyze our building structure. When I went out into the work force and applied my theoretical knowledge to the physical world, I was given a few opportunities to apply my coding knowledge in Microsoft VBA. Using this language I took large amounts of data and user inputs to convert it to easy to use data in Hospital and school structures. /text> br>br> /td> /tr> tr> td> text>In order to solidify my foundation in coding, I decided to enroll parttime in a community college program. I spent about a year in this program while working fulltime, but I noticed I was much happier coding so I decided to quit my job and pursue Software Engineering as my career. I hope to make a successful transition from working as a structural engineer to a software engineer. Youre pretty much all caught up, but please feel free to explore my website. It has a few of my noteworthy projects, and my contact information can be found on my resume. Thanks for reading and have fun exploring! /text> br>br> /td> /tr> tr> td> text>P.S.
