You have found your place. We offer all of the above in a peaceful, private, and secluded setting. SEEING IS BELIEVING!!br>br>center>img srcscene1.jpg>/center>br>br>FYI: Eagles Landing is a family owned property. The cabins are the only commercial aspect. Once known as the “Thox Rock Farm,” the farm was given a new name upon transfer of ownership in the year 2000. As you will see, the name suits it well, as the property is home to numerous Bald Eagles that often grace the skies above the cabins, intent on the goings on below. Since the year 2000, numerous improvements, updates, and additions have been made. However, several of the original log cabins constructed over 100 years ago still remain and are consistently rented. In addition to the originals, we have added several new cabins with various floor plans for those desiring more modern amenities. Subsequently, an abundance of recreational opportunities are available. The fishing is excellent! Smallmouth bass in our area is top notch but the largemouth and goggle eye are very deserving of acknowledgement as well. For those who enjoy cool weather gigging, you can take advantage of your cabin’s convenience during the fall/winter season, as the red horse, sucker, and carp are in abundance. Floaters & Boaters! Our area is great for canoeing and boating. There are several locations for floaters to put in up river depending on the length of float you prefer. The shortest being about four hours and the longest can take days. If you prefer to get there quicker or see more in a shorter time, jet boats are ideal and will allow you to travel up or down river for miles.Only a quarter of a mile down river from the cabins, the “Thox Rock” resides in the middle of the river. The “beach” as we call it, is there as well. At north side of interstate turn left at stop sign. Drive C highway for roughly 7 miles until you arrive at the Eagles Landing gates. Access is by apt only as we are a gated property.
