First installing Masticfont faceTimes New Roman>® insul-brick and insul-stone. After World War II, Asbestos siding shingles were developed and the Ginters added that to their line of products. Several of the Ginter Family served in World War II and Korea. In the early 1950s, aluminum siding was developed and the Ginters added this to their line. It did not take long for aluminum to nearly eliminate the other exterior remodeling products on the market. The family soon branched out and several became independent contractors, forming their own companies. In 1961, Ott Ginter formed Ott Ginter Aluminum Co., specializing in aluminum siding, aluminum storm windows & doors. Business was good. Raymond Ginter was working for the company and business grew rapidly. In 1970, Otts son, Randolph joined the business . In 1990, Ott Ginter retired and Randolph took over the business. Several of the Ginter Family served in World War II and Korea. In the early 1950s, aluminum siding was developed and the Ginters added this to their line. It did not take long for aluminum to nearly eliminate the other exterior remodeling products on the market. The family soon branched out and several became independent contractors, forming their own companies. In 1961, Ott Ginter formed Ott Ginter Aluminum Co., specializing in aluminum siding, aluminum storm windows & doors. Business was good. Raymond Ginter was working for the company and business grew rapidly. In 1970, Otts son, Randolph joined the business . During the 1980s, the cost of aluminum skyrocketed and vinyl technology was producing a lower cost, superior quality product that resisted dents. In 1990, Ott Ginter retired and Randolph took over the business. Randolph changed the name to Ginter Siding & Windows, to cover the broad spectrum of products that were being used in the exterior home remodeling business.
