My personal theory is that everybody here is in a good mood simply because the climate is always awesome.br />Despite the fact that it’s not as huge as N.Y. or Los Angeles, strong>Honolulu/strong> is recognised as a major metropolitan destination. There is stuff happening each and every hour throughout the day here. Almost all towns all over the country become really dull in the evening and others that are fun are not found in warmer regions besides Miami and Los Angeles. As opposed to most cities that have hot weather Honolulu has far more going on. strong>Honolulu/strong> boasts fantastic nightlife with many night clubs staying wide open until 4 A.M. I have a few favorite nature hikes such as Kuliou’ou and also Mariners Ridge but even if you would like a quick scenic hike there is a couple nice ones to pick from like Diamond Head or Manoa Falls. There are so many great hikes to be done here that one could devote weeks or perhaps months trying to do them all./p>p>If you enjoy learning about other cultures then you would like residing in strong>Honolulu/strong>. Another thing I love in regards to this city is that I’m continually meeting folks from all around the globe. Tourists from all around the globe arrive here daily and on top of that the city is a cultural melting pot. You can spend a day in Waikiki and meet a different person from a completely different place in the world every single day. I’ve made associates from all over the world which is great since I enjoy take trips./p>p>Most of asia looks like a really awesome destination and I wish I’ll take a trip to there one day. Traveling to any place in Asia is pretty affordable out of Honolulu which can be good. Trips to Tokyo are around $600 from Hawaii and that is comparable cost as traveling to Las Vegas. So I am absolutely looking forward to achieving this and I am thinking about saving some dough so I can make it happen next summer. strong>Honolulu/strong> is great but there’s lots out there to check out and I cannot put it off.br />Well, those are just a very few reasons why I enjoy Honolulu a lot. If you’ve never visited this place before then you need to visit otherwise if you reside here you no doubt know what i’m saying. I visited Honolulu once as a kid when my family and I had been here on vacation and I had always dreamed of coming back. I had my mind made up to attend U of Hawaii thus it had been the only school I applied to, luckily I was accepted because my grades were not very good./p>p>Here I am 2 years later writing a blog for my English language course. I am specialising in history given it was always my favorite subject in school as a kid. The best history course thus far was Hawaiian history. The state of Hawaii offers an fantastic historical past that most people don’t have any idea of. Their unique background is a common story of an native people that were taken advantage of by white settlers who pushed their own values on them in the name of God. Once I graduate I could either acquire a job as a History teacher or perhaps I could continue to grad school. I’ve been definitely debating whether to get a graduate degree in Hawaiian history. He’s definitely the coolest pet That I have ever had and I had a feeling he’d turn out amazing when I first saw the guy. He eats anything, even alcohol. We must watch what food items we all leave out because in the event that we take our eyes away from it for a second our dinners are long gone. This guy even drinks beer so whenever we throw a party we have to tell everybody not to leave anything laying around or else he will get wasted! Clever, huh?/p>p>Anyways back to the skateboarding. One day I had been skateboarding while taking Frito for a walk and then I lost my balance and the skateboard shot out from beneath me and then Frito chased after it and hopped on it. On his subsequent try he rode for about 20 feet until he ran into the grass. Ever since I’ve been taking the pup to the dog park with me to skateboard and everyone gets a kick out of watching the guy skateboard. Chicks love him so it is an ideal way for me to make new friends./p>p>Anyway it is getting late and this is actually plenty of writing when it comes to my 1st project. Because there are many great features to post about it will likely be difficult to keep this concise. In my last write-up I mentioned what caused Jeffrey Stockton to move to Honolulu and I also discussed a little bit about the reason I love it here so much however in this post I’ll go into a lot more detail with regards to why strong>Honolulu/strong> is such a fantastic place./p>p>Obviously the weather conditions here factored into my choice Honolulu hardly ever will get cold which makes it a perfect location for strong>Jeffrey Stockton/strong> to call home. The weather is so extremely good here that people complain that it is chilly if the temperature gets as low as the Seventies. Apart from the fact that it basically never gets cold it practically never rains too. Rainfall in Honolulu usually barely lasts a few minutes after which it’s sunny again. In Honolulu we love to refer to this as “Liquid Sunshine.”/p>h2>Jeffrey Stockton Honolulu Hawaii/h2>p>Yet another great aspect about strong>Honolulu, Hawaii/strong> is that the everyone is generally friendly. It’s surprising just how many acquaintances I’ve made ever since I have been here. Whenever my friends or relatives from out of town pay a visit they frequently say “strong>Jeffrey Stockton/strong>, how can you have such a lot of pals?” It’s easy to make friends when everyone here are so polite. My personal theory is that everybody here is in a good mood simply because the climate is always awesome.br />Despite the fact that it’s not as huge as N.Y. or Los Angeles, strong>Honolulu/strong> is recognised as a major metropolitan destination. There is stuff happening each and every hour throughout the day here. Almost all towns all over the country become really dull in the evening and others that are fun are not found in warmer regions besides Miami and Los Angeles. As opposed to most cities that have hot weather Honolulu has far more going on. strong>Honolulu/strong> boasts fantastic nightlife with many night clubs staying wide open until 4 A.M. Due to just how mixed this place is you actually have a bunch of options for eating out which is fantastic./p>p>strong>Honolulu/strong> is also famous due to its excellent hikes. Anyone who knows me understands that strong>Jeffrey Stockton/strong> loves to hike. I have a few favorite nature hikes such as Kuliou’ou and also Mariners Ridge but even if you would like a quick scenic hike there is a couple nice ones to pick from like Diamond Head or Manoa Falls. There are so many great hikes to be done here that one could devote weeks or perhaps months trying to do them all./p>p>If you enjoy learning about other cultures then you would like residing in strong>Honolulu/strong>. Another thing I love in regards to this city is that I’m continually meeting folks from all around the globe. Tourists from all around the globe arrive here daily and on top of that the city is a cultural melting pot. You can spend a day in Waikiki and meet a different person from a completely different place in the world every single day. I’ve made associates from all over the world which is great since I enjoy take trips./p>p>Most of asia looks like a really awesome destination and I wish I’ll take a trip to there one day. Traveling to any place in Asia is pretty affordable out of Honolulu which can be good. Trips to Tokyo are around $600 from Hawaii and that is comparable cost as traveling to Las Vegas. So I am absolutely looking forward to achieving this and I am thinking about saving some dough so I can make it happen next summer. strong>Honolulu/strong> is great but there’s lots out there to check out and I cannot put it off.br />Well, those are just a very few reasons why I enjoy Honolulu a lot. If you’ve never visited this place before then you need to visit otherwise if you reside here you no doubt know what i’m saying. My job will be to blog on the subject of my day to day life for my undergrad English literature course. I have to write about college, my crappy job, my mad pooch “Frito” and while no person will probably read this besides my professor yet I still must do it. I am in my sophomore year at U of Hawaii at Manoa. I moved here from Delaware because I grew up surfing however disliked all the cold ocean back home./p>p>As soon as I got here I knew this place was home. I visited Honolulu once as a kid when my family and I had been here on vacation and I had always dreamed of coming back. Nearly every one of my high school pals didn’t go incredibly far for university, most stayed in Delaware but some went only as far off as California. I had my mind made up to attend U of Hawaii thus it had been the only school I applied to, luckily I was accepted because my grades were not very good./p>p>Here I am 2 years later writing a blog for my English language course. I am specialising in history given it was always my favorite subject in school as a kid. The best history course thus far was Hawaiian history. The state of Hawaii offers an fantastic historical past that most people don’t have any idea of. Their unique background is a common story of an native people that were taken advantage of by white settlers who pushed their own values on them in the name of God. Once I graduate I could either acquire a job as a History teacher or perhaps I could continue to grad school. I’ve been definitely debating whether to get a graduate degree in Hawaiian history. I highly doubt if a graduate degree in Hawaiian history will make me rich but at the very least I will be happy doing something I love./p>p>Beyond classes some other things which I absolutely enjoy (aside from surfing obviously) is hiking as well as skateboarding together with my hound Frito (that’s right he skateboards.) After I moved off of campus with my buddies I made the choice to get a doggy, he’s been my closest friend since then. Because I wasn’t living in the dormitories any longer I thought it was a perfect chance to get a dog. He’s definitely the coolest pet That I have ever had and I had a feeling he’d turn out amazing when I first saw the guy. He eats anything, even alcohol. We must watch what food items we all leave out because in the event that we take our eyes away from it for a second our dinners are long gone. This guy even drinks beer so whenever we throw a party we have to tell everybody not to leave anything laying around or else he will get wasted! Clever, huh?/p>p>Anyways back to the skateboarding. One day I had been skateboarding while taking Frito for a walk and then I lost my balance and the skateboard shot out from beneath me and then Frito chased after it and hopped on it. On his subsequent try he rode for about 20 feet until he ran into the grass. Ever since I’ve been taking the pup to the dog park with me to skateboard and everyone gets a kick out of watching the guy skateboard. Chicks love him so it is an ideal way for me to make new friends./p>p>Anyway it is getting late and this is actually plenty of writing when it comes to my 1st project. My subsequent post might be about a hike that my pals and I will be going on this saturday or sunday. I can’t remember the name of the place however it is somewhere out in Hawaii Loa.
