I’m Kate and I’m happy to welcome you on my webpage./h2> p>4 years ago while working as digital analyst in creative studio in Russia I was proposed to join the in-company traineeship in UX design. During the traineeship I assisted senior UX designer in different projects. By the end of the traineeship I started to work as UX designer and take the responsibility by myself.br/>br/>While working as UX designer I always needed to code website prototypes in HTML/CSS/JS. In order to do it better and faster I learned JQuery and AngularJS (as for HTML and CSS I practised them even before, earning money by building portfolio websites for small companies during university and school studies). The more I worked the more I took part in Front-End development stage of building web-applications, playing role of «full-stack UXer» who can not only prototype and conduct experiments, but also code the website. For past 3 years I’ve been working as outsource UX-designer/ Front-End developer for several Russian agencies with clients mostly in E-commerce. In the meanwhile I studied Ruby and upgraded my JS skills (React JS, Node.JS, Feathers JS).br/>br/>Now I’m living in Amsterdam and looking for new challenges and interesting projects! /p> /section> section classhighlight> div classflex-width> a idskills>/a>h2>My skills for the moment/h2> p classannotation>* I am passionate about upgrading myself, so these are permanently being updated :-)/p> ul classskills-col col span-1-of-4> li>UX/UI/li> li>User research/li> li>A/B testing/li> li>Prototyping/li> li>Wireframing/li> li>Sketch/li> li>Adobe CS/li> li>Axure/li> /ul> ul classskills-col col span-1-of-4> li>Web development/li> li>HTML5/li> li>CSS3/li> li>JavaScript/li> li>JQuery/li> li>AngularJS/li> li>ReactJS/li> li>Node.JS/li> li>Ruby-on-Rails/li> /ul> ul classskills-col col span-1-of-4> li>Languages/li> li>Russian (native)/li> li>English (advanced)/li> li>French (advanced)/li> li>Dutch (A2, in progress)/li> /ul> ul classskills-col col span-1-of-4> li>Other skills /li> li>SWIFT/li> li>Agile/Scrum/li> li>Marketing research/li> li>Marketing analytics/li> /ul> /div> /section> section classflex-width> a idux>/a>h2>UX portfolio/h2> div idux-portfolio> ul> li>One of the largest e-commerce clothes retailers in Russia (can’t use name according to NDA).br/> img srcimages/ux-first.png altE-commerce project, UX classux-preview> span>a href# idux-first>Show more.../a>/span> div classux-details-1> div classdetails-base> p>span classcase-title>Goal:/span> Update the database of Emails and attract more people to subscribe forour weekly Email with promotions and news./p>br/> p>span classcase-title>What was done:/span> We added personalization to the subscription suggestion. When the user enters the website he/she gets an ad “Subscribe and get 1000rub” with a field for Email and 2 buttons: “Women” and “Men”. There’re 3 types of Frogets: business, leisure and shopping. Frogets can be added to the list or on the map, can include time and date settings or not. For example, you know that you need to buy a toy for your dog but keep forgetting it during the day and remember only after having missed all the petshops. At that a very moment I looked once again at the window and my weather started to seem almost perfect to me: only -1 C, not -34 C!!!
